Hi my name is Soulja Choc.

Q1. What made you start writing?

I got crossed by two people I loved and wanted to write a book about betrayal.

Q2. How long have you been writing?

I wrote a couple months in 2011 and stopped, then I started back in 2014 and didn’t start taking it serious into 2016.

Q3. What is the hardest part about being an author?

Being patient until you gain readers, someone it takes years.

Q4. What lessons have you learned about being an author?

Just because you write a good book don’t mean it’s gone be a best seller or even sale.

Q5. What is the best part of being an author?

You get to share your thoughts or story with the world.

Q6. Does the cover play a significant role in buying process?

Yes, the covers play a big part.

Q7. Tell us a little bit about your cover art. Who designed it? Why did you go with that particular image/artwork?

The cover go with the story, it’s exactly a match. Tina Shivers did the cover and she did it exactly the way I asked.

Q8. Please describe what the story/book is about.

About a young hustla who made it big in the dope game as a youngster, his life changes when he get betrayed by his mentor. Revenge is a must.

Q9. Who is your favorite character from your book and why?

Soulja, because he remind me a lot of myself.

Q10 Who is your intended audience and why should they read your book? What makes your endeavors unique?

I want everybody to take my books so I write more than just street lit, they should read my books because I write about the type of lifestyle I lived or than seen, if you front any hood or urban community, you gone relate to my book.

Q.11 Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character from your most recent book?

Denzel Washington.

Q12 Is there any more projects you are currently working and what were your past works?

I’m currently working on 3 books, Soulja Choc Presents Anthology, Goon Bitch and a book about the first half of my life. I currently have The Birth Of Gutta Squad, part 2 to that is Gutta Squad Lifestyle. Street Soulja 1,2&3. Ken, Finding The Missing Link 1&2, My Hearts On Lock 1,2&3, Goon Bitch, Power’s Of Love, When Hustlas And Hitman Collide and they spin-off to it Yall Left Me 4 Dead.

Q13. What advice would you offer an aspiring author?

A13. Don’t let the lack of support, people telling you ur skills not good enough stop, if writing is what you want to do, Chase ur dream.
